How do you engage teachers of multiple grade levels and content areas all at the same time?  You give them a cross-curricular learning challenge that requires teamwork and collaboration while incorporating an insane amount of fun!  Participants will gain an understanding of the Engineering Design Process and will discuss how utilizing hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities engages students in the classroom while teaching teamwork and building a positive classroom climate.  Teachers will also identify ways to better incorporate writing skills into STEAM activities and projects.
