Dalton Savage is a high school social studies teacher at Edmond Memorial High School in Edmond, Oklahoma. Previously, he was a middle school social studies teacher at the Middle School of Piedmont in Piedmont, OK. Dalton earned his M.Ed. in Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum from the University of Oklahoma.
Dalton is a recipient of the Western History Association Charles Redd Center Teaching Award (2016) OU Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education Outstanding Intern Award (2017), Middle School of Piedmont Rookie of the Year (2018), and the Oklahoma Council for the Social Studies Clara Luper Memorial Rising Star Award (2019).
He serves as a Commissioner for the Oklahoma Educational Quality and Accountability Board and serves as the President for the Oklahoma Council for History Education. His personal mission is to impact history teachers and enthusiasts in all 77 counties. His research interests include social studies education, professional learning, and teacher preparation.

Dalton draws on is personal experience to provide professional development in Social Studies Methods and mentoring . He provides participants with ready to use strategies grounded in current educational research and his own success as an APUSH teacher..
Dalton delivers pointed small group, and whole group sessions to Social Studies teachers. He is also available for semester or year long one on one mentoring for classroom educators and AP teachers.
