My Story
Andrew Cooley’s background includes 20 years in multiple levels of esports, ranging from: competing at a professional/semi-pro level, coaching, player management, and esports business management. Prior to co-founding Esports Performance Academy (EPA), he also founded State of Mind Gaming and was President of GG Esports Academy. He has guided and fostered players, coaches, and teams through various states of their careers, establishing a strong foundation of providing insights into the mindsets and motivations driving esports aces and aspirants.
From 2018 to 2019, Andrew and his staff sent 12 players and one coach to the professional level in League of Legends and Overwatch. Through EPA's work with school districts and universities, Andrew and his team have helped build esports programs from the ground up, implemented curricula, administered coaching certifications, and had the pleasure of assisting in the development of several State and National Championship teams.
My Approach
Andrew Cooley is an energetic presenter who specializes in blending first-hand experience and educational research into dynamic and motivating sessions that will have participants engaged and ready to start an esports team.
Andrew draws on his personal experience to provide professional development in Esports and Esports curriculum. He provides participants with ready-to-use strategies grounded in current educational research and current expectations for success.
Andrew delivers motivational keynotes, small group, and whole-group sessions. He and his staff are also available for semester or year-long one on one mentoring for Esports coordinators and players.
